SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Lindsey Clawson earned a victory in the 1500 meters to highlight the day's action for the St. Bonaventure women's track team Thursday afternoon at the SRU Invitational.

Clawson showed the way in the 1500, running a winning time of 5:09.69. She beat second-place by nearly seven seconds with her personal best in the event, a mark that will stand eighth in the Bonnies program individual top-10.

Clawson's time qualifies her for this year's Atlantic 10 Championships.

In the 400, Alexa Martinos posted a time of 1:03.97 to cross the finish line in second overall, just a second off the winning mark. Her time is now second in the SBU individual top-10 as well.

Lauren McGee paced the Bonnies in the 5000, placing fourth overall with a run of 20:03.86.

St. Bonaventure is back in action this Saturday, running at the University at Buffalo.
