ROCHESTER – The St. Bonaventure women's track team wrapped up the regular season portion of its schedule Friday under sunny skies at the Talon Invitational on campus at Roberts Wesleyan College.
Lindsey Clawson paced the Bonnies in the 1500, finishing third out of 19 competitors at 5:11.29. She narrowly finished ahead of Emily Peterson who posted the 10th-fastest individual time in the program record book at 5:11.79. With her performance, Peterson qualified for next weekend's Atlantic 10 Championships.
Senior Lindsey Lytle also ran a personal best 1500 time of 5:13.29.
Lauren McGee ran the seventh-fastest individual program time in the 3000 as well (11:38.22).
Following the meet, the Bonnies honored their graduating senior class: Amberlee Robertson, Morgan Brady and Lindsey Lytle.
Next up for the Bonnies is a trip to Atlantic 10 Championships next weekend in Richmond.
