Continuing The Canadian Pipeline

Located just under two hours away from the Canadian border, St. Bonaventure men's basketball has a long tradition of recruiting and developing successful Canadian players. This year, Ryan Kalambay hopes to continue that tradition.

New Team, Familiar Faces

Transferring to St. Bonaventure for her junior season brought a level of comfort for Jordyn Williams.

Betting On Himself

Sometimes moving forward means taking a step back. After graduating from high school in 2024, Taj Au-Duke had to make a long journey to start his college basketball career.

Living The Dream

Heading into his first season with the Bonnies, senior Ryan Heath is living out one of his biggest childhood dreams: playing Division I basketball.

One More Shot

Kay Donahue jokes about having had a touch of gray in her hair since her early teenage days. Perhaps that is fitting considering she will bring a wealth of veteran experience to this year's Bonnies roster.

One Percent Better

Benjamin Bill has a motto by which he lives his life. “One thing I believe in highly is Kaizen, which means one percent better every day.”

Ahead Of Schedule

Cameron Blankenberg is a year ahead of schedule. The two-time All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year has returned home to the Empire State after reclassifying to the Class of 2026, accelerating his path to the college ranks.

Ella Trinkaus St. Bonaventure women's basketball

Trinkaus Brings Winning Pedigree To Bonaventure

Ella earned the title of New York State Sportswriters Association Class A Player of the Year as a senior at Utica Notre Dame having already committed to St. Bonaventure as the first member of the Bonnies '26-27 recruiting class back in November

Waheed Ready For New Opportunity

Considering he’s the son of a basketball coach, it’s little surprise the scouting reports on new Bonnies guard Akbar Waheed III mention his high basketball IQ.

A Sweet Homecoming

The 6-foot forward now becomes a key part of Bona's 2026-27 recruiting class as one of three Division I transfers.

The Right Fit

When the 2026-27 season gets underway at the Reilly Center, few Bonnies newcomers will garner more attention than sophomore forward Mason Blackwood.

Half A World Away, Right At Home

Lola Gralton traveled around the globe to start her Bonaventure journey, but it only took a couple of days for her decision to uproot from her home in Australia to the Enchanted Mountains of Western New York.

716 Pride

Cheektowaga native Aaliyah Parker has certainly represented the 716 well over her college career.

The Hometown Product

Most players who don the St. Bonaventure basketball colors gain their first introduction to the Bonnies from watching a game on TV or getting a call from the coaching staff.

For Bonnies guard Jack DeRose, however, some of his earliest childhood memories involve cheering on the team from inside a raucous Reilly Center.
