Bonnies Take To Assembly Hall Hardwood Tonight Against Indiana

St. Bonaventure comes into tonight's matchup looking to start 2-0 for the fourth consecutive year, something that has never before been accomplished in program history. In fact, the current three-year stretch is already a program record, as only  once before  has the team  opened 2-0 in back-to-back seasons.

Tonight's Matchup
This will be just the second ever meeting between Indiana and St. Bonaventure. The Bonnies hold a 1-0 series lead by virtue of a 64-54 victory on Dec. 18, 1999 in Assembly Hall.

Last Time Out
St. Bonaventure stretched its season-opening undefeated streak to six straight with Friday night's overtime win over visiting Binghamton. Jessica Jenkins netted 22 points, including nine in the overtime session alone, while logging a career-high 39 minutes. She also converted 7-of-8 attempts from the free throw line, both career highs.

Last Time Against the Big Ten
The last time St. Bonaventure matched up with Big Ten opponent was in its season finale last year. Northwestern visited the Reilly Center for a second-round matchup in the Women's National Invitational Tournament and left with a 66-62 win.

Career Nights
In addition to freshmen CeCe Dixon and Doris Ortega making thier collegiate debuts, four different Bonnies set or tied career highs Friday night: Alaina Walker (2 blocks, career high); Jessica Jenkins (7-8 FT, both career highs; 39 minutes, career high); Cara Gustafson (3-4 3-point, both tie career highs); Chelsea Bowker (6 3-pointers attempted, career high; 25 minutes, career high).

Quick Turnaround
Following tonight's game, the Bonnies will travel to Baltimore to meet the Lady Bears of Morgan State on Wednesday evening at 5:30.

Scouting Indiana
- Indiana opened its 2010-11 season with an 81-66 win at Ball State on Friday evening
- The Hoosiers return four starters from a team that went 14-16 last year, finishing 7-11 in the Big Ten
- They boast an All America candidate in senior guard Jori Davis, a product of Rochester's Greece-Athena High School
- In the season-opening win, Davis played 33 minutes and finished with 19 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and three steals
- The Indiana defense forced Ball State into 22 turnovers Firday night
- The Bonnies are the first of two Atlantic 10 teams the Hoosiers will meet this year as they will also entertain the Saint Louis Billikens on Nov. 24
