The Short Story: St. Bonaventure fell into an early hole and never recovered, falling 73-32 to Fordham on Saturday afternoon in the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship. The Bonnies trailed 38-4 at halftime and made just nine of 54 field goals (16 percent) on the day.
Katie Healy led St. Bonaventure with 12 points and nine rebounds; she was the only Bonnies player to reach double figures in scoring.

How It Happened:
- St. Bonaventure fell behind 11-0 to start the game as Fordham made its first four shots, including a trio of three-pointers by Hannah Missry.
- Fordham made five of its first six three-pointers on the afternoon, staking the Rams to the early lead and momentum. Misssry made a fourth three-pointer and teammate Abigail Corning added another right after that to make it 19-2 Fordham by the 12:58 mark.
- As Fordham continued to extend its lead, all-conference guard Erin Rooney scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Rams in the first half.
- The Bonnies could not get anything to turn in their favor, and by halftime Fordham held a commanding 38-4 lead. The Rams made 16 of their 27 shots in the first half, while the Bonnies went 2-25.
- Fordham opened the second half with three-pointers by Corning and Missry and extended the lead to 46-4.
- St. Bonaventure finally got its first field goal of the second half on a layup by Katie Healy at the 9:47 mark.
- Eleven of the 12 Fordham players who played scored, led by Missry's 18 points on 6-9 shooting from long range. The Rams were 30-52 from the field (57 percent) including 13-22 (60 percent) from three-point range. Fordham outrebounded the Bonnies 43-29.
- Katie Healy led St. Bonaventure with 12 points and nine rebounds; she was the only Bonnies player to reach double figures in scoring.
- Hannah Little had a tough day shooting, going 0-11, although she did grab a game-high 11 rebounds.
- Nyla Rueter scored eight points while Kelcie Rombach had four off the bench.
Beyond the Box Score:
- Despite the lopsided loss, St. Bonaventure can take away the positives of playing in its second A-10 semifinal in the last three seasons. The Bonnies' 23 wins are tied for their second-most ever and put them in strong position for a WNIT berth.
