BONNIES DUO EARNS A-10 RECOGNITION: Sophomore Danielle Migliore and freshman Emily Calabrese were each part of the Atlantic 10 Weekly Honor Roll released on Monday for their performances during opening weekend. Migliore started her first two career games, averaging 13.5 points and 8.0 rebounds while shooting over 52 percent from the floor. Calabrese was cited as one of the league's top freshmen for the week after averaging 8.0 points and 5.0 rebounds. Her four steals on Friday were the most in a debut game by a Bona freshman in over a decade.

TERRY TAKES TO NEW ROLE: Sophomore Jalisha Terry started 25 games at point guard last year, but has started this season in a reserve role. She's fit into the role nicely so far, averaging 14.5 points while shooting 53 percent from the floor last weekend. She had a higher scoring average in back-to-back games just once last season (15.5 ppg vs. Rider and Stony Brook last November).

ALWAYS REMEMBER THE FIRST: Danielle Migliore made her first career start a memorable one as she scored a career high 21 points Friday night. Her previous best was eight at Toledo last year. Heralded by the coaching staff for her off-season work ethic, the former N.Y. Class C First Team All-State selection had just seven three-pointers (7-47) her first season, but went 5-9 from distance Friday. She had 34 points all of last season, but 21 in the opener. She set career highs in points, field goals, three-pointers, rebounds and minutes.

HARVEY SHINES AT SIENA: Though the Bonnies fell at Siena on Sunday, junior transfer Arielle Harvey was a big bright spot for the Brown and White by pouring in a game-high 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor. At Daytona State, Harvey finished with
double-digit points in 52 of 60 games over the past two seasons. She reached a career high of 28 points four times while at Daytona State.

ROAD HEARTBREAK CONTINUES: St. Bonaventure will look to snap their road woes at Canisius on Wednesday. The Bonnies have not won on the road since a 55-38 triumph at UMass on Jan. 19. The Bonnies have lost three of their last four road games by eight points or less, including the 70-62 setback at Siena on Sunday.

MAAC TRIPLE THREAT: St. Bonaventure begins the 2017-18 season with three straight games against opponents from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) - Niagara, Siena and Canisius. The Bonnies are 90-64 against MAAC opponents all-time.

BONA VS. CANISIUS -  SERIES HISTORY
  • Wednesday marks the 53rd meeting all-time between the Bonnies and Griffs. St. Bonaventure has played only one opponent more through the years - fellow Little Three rival Niagara (61 meetings).
  • Canisius holds a narrow 11-10 edge in holding serve on its home court during the series, but the Bonnies have won the past six games in Buffalo.
  • St. Bonaventure has not lost vs. Canisius in Buffalo since Nov. 20, 1999.
  • The Griffs got the better of the Bonnies last year in the Southern Tier, but Bona had previously won the last 10 meetings in the series dating back to 2006.
  • The Bonnies and Griffs have played once a year every season since 2004-05.
LAST MEETING
  • Canisius snapped a 10-game losing streak vs. St. Bonaventure with a 74-57 victory at The RC on Nov. 16, 2016.
  • That win also snapped what was a 17-game home win streak for the Bonnies spanning more than a year.
  • Mariah Ruff posted 14 points and Mckenna Maycock registered eight rebounds in that contest.
  • Canisius used a 17-2 run spanning the first and second quarters to take control, though the Bonnies got within six points late in the third before the Griffs pulled away late.
  • It was the first win for the Griffs at The RC since 2005.
  • Five Canisius players in double-figure scoring led by Lauren D'Hont's 15 points.
