ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The first-ever Bonnies Athletic Fund Giving Day was a resounding success, with the Bona Nation family stepping up in a huge way by contributing over $265,000 from more than 1,300 donations.

"We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who has shown their support to our student-athletes through Bonnies Giving Day," St. Bonaventure Director of Athletics Joe Manhertz said. "The goal started out at $100,000, but was raised to $150,000 and then to $200,000 as donors proved to be extremely generous. We could not be prouder of Bona Nation and their efforts on such a historic day. Bonnies are bold and obviously they are competitive, too. During Giving Day, that spirit shone brightly."
