The St. Bonaventure University women's basketball team returns home to host La Salle Wednesday, Jan. 10 at the Reilly Center. Tip is slated for 7:00 p.m.
OPENING TIP
The Bonnies look to snap a two-game skid following road losses to Fordham and Rhode Island last week. Bona's fell to Fordham, 65-57, Wednesday morning and then dropped a 65-41 decision Saturday against Rhode Island.
Isabellah Middleton led the Bonnies against Rhode Island with 12 points on 6-of-11 shooting and also pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.

- Redshirt junior Isabellah Middleton currently leads the Bonnies in rebounding, averaging 6.0 boards per night and has grabbed 84 total rebounds. She has grabbed five or rebounds in nine contests, including a season-high 12 to go along with 13 points in a double-double effort against Loyola Chicago Dec. 30.
- Senior Dani Haskell enters the week with 970 career points, needing 30 tallies to reach 1,000 points for her career. Haskell entered the year with 801 points and leads the Bonnies in scoring at 13.0 points per game. She has scored in double figures in 10 out of 13 contests, including three games with 20 or more points.
- Claire Cody has provided a spark off the bench this season, averaging career highs across the board. A fifth-year member of the Bonnies, Cody is averaging career bests in points (5.6), rebounds (3.4), total rebounds (48), minutes per game (21.3), field goal percentage (45.0%), three-point percentage (37.5%), 3-pointers made (18), assists (10) and steals (9). Cody scored a career-high 17 points in the Bonnies win over Loyola Chicago.
LA SALLE NOTES
- La Salle enters Wednesday's contest 4-10 overall and 1-2 to begin Atlantic 10 play, defeating Fordham Saturday afternoon, 64-53, for its first conference win. The Explorers have also claimed wins over Coppin State, American and Rider this season. La Salle finished last season 17-14 overall and 8-7 in A-10 play. The Explorers were picked to finish 12th in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll.
- Mountain MacGillivray is in his sixth season at the helm of the Explorers. He touts a career record of 68-92, winning a career-high 17 wins last year. MacGillivray joined the Explorers after nine seasons as an assistant coach at Quinnipiac.
- Nicole Melious leads La Salle offensively at 10.4 points per game while Jolene Armendariz grabs a team-high 5.9 rebounds per contest. Melious and Molly Masciantonio have started all 14 games for the Explorers.
SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies and Explorers are set to meet for the 26th time Wednesday evening. La Salle holds the slight edge in the all-time series, 19-16, and defeated the Bonnies in the last matchup, 65-52, in Philadelphia Jan. 28, 2023. Bona's, however, is 10-5 against the Explorers at the Reilly Center, winning the last two meetings.
Bonnies teams under head coach Jim Crowley are 12-8 all-time against La Salle, including an eight-game win streak from Jan. 26, 2008 to Jan. 15, 2014.
