The St. Bonaventure University women's basketball team remains at home to host Fordham Sunday, Feb. 18 at the Reilly Center. Tip is slated for 1:00 p.m. at the Reilly Center for the Bonnies annual Pink Game.
PINK GAME
The 2024 Pink Game is sponsored by Paul Brown Motors and the Bonnies are proud to partner with the Pink Pumpkin Project, the Zonta Club and Olean General Hospital Foundation.
Pink Game T-shirts are available for purchase online prior to the game for $15 and breast cancer survivors receive a free T-shirt.
Raffle tickets are also available for purchase online. Prizes include men's basketball Atlantic 10 Tournament all-session passes, a Stay and Ski package at Holiday Valley, a Bonnies swag pack and custom jewelry.
Fans are also encouraged to purchase "Shoot for Hope" raffle tickets online.
All proceeds from the Pink Game go directly to the purchase of cooling caps, which help with hair loss associated with cancer care.
BY THE NUMBERS
5 – Since entering the starting lineup against Dayton Jan. 28, Payton Fields has been consistent. Through the last five games, Fields is averaging 6.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while shooting 48.1 percent from the floor in 28.9 minutes per contest.
12 – Dani Haskell has tallied 51 made threes this season, needing just 12 more 3-pointers to crack into the top 15 all-time for a single season in program history. Recent St. Bonaventure Athletics Hall of Fame selection Stefanie Collins, '06, made 63 3-pointers during the 2001-02 season currently ranking 15th in Bonnies program history.
15.4 – The Bonnies currently rank fifth in the Atlantic 10 in fouls per game, committing just 15.4 fouls per contest. Saint Joseph's leads the Atlantic 10 and ranks third in the NCAA, averaging 12.0 fouls per game.
21.7 – Bona's defense has picked up in the last three games, forcing a total of 65 turnovers during that span and are averaging 21.7 turnovers forced. The Bonnies forced a season-best 25 turnovers against Duquesne Wednesday.
839 – Coming down the final stretch of the season, Isabellah Middleton has registered 839 career points, needing 161 points to reach 1,000. Middleton entered the year with 596 points following two seasons at Slippery Rock and has scored 243 points with the Bonnies, averaging 10.1 per game.
FORDHAM NOTES
- Fordham enters Sunday's contest 9-15 overall and 4-9 in Atlantic 10 play. The Rams are winners of their last two contests over Dayton and Massachusetts while also earning A-10 wins over George Washington and St. Bonaventure.
- The Rams are coached by Bridgette Mitchell who is in her first season at the helm of the women's basketball program. Mitchell comes to Fordham after two seasons at Northeastern, guiding the Huskies to a 19-12 record in the 2022-23 season. Mitchell is 42-45 in two-plus seasons as a head coach.
- Fordham is led offensively by Taylor Donaldson who leads the Atlantic 10 in scoring, averaging 17.8 points to go along with 4.9 rebounds. Donaldson is shooting 37.1 percent from the floor and 36.5 percent from beyond the arc. As a team, Fordham is averaging 9.9 steals per game, leading the Atlantic 10.
SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies and Rams are set to meet for the 48th time Sunday afternoon. Bona's holds a slim lead in the all-time series, 24-23, but have dropped 10 straight to Fordham. The Bonnies last defeated the Rams Jan. 7, 2016 at the Reilly Center, 55-41, behind 14 points each from Nyla Rueter and Katie Healy.
SBU and Fordham met once already this season back on Jan. 3 in the Bronx. The Rams took that matchup, 65-57, while the Bonnies were led by Nadechka Laccen with 13 points and Taylor Napper with 12 tallies.

The Brown and White wrap up their three-game homestand Wednesday, Feb. 21 when they host George Mason. Tip is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the Reilly Center.
