ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure baseball head coach Jason Rathbun has announced the addition of Nate Kujawski to the Bonnies baseball staff as a part-time assistant coach in charge of the pitching staff.
As a student-athlete at Division I Evansville, Kujawski was a relief pitcher, making 11 appearances during his time with the Missouri Valley Conference program. Prior to arriving in Evansville, Kujawski pitched for Sierra Community College, and Chandler Gilbert Community College at the junior college level. His collegiate playing career was highlighted by a CCCAA Regional appearance and MVC championship appearance. Following his college career, Kujawski had a brief stint in independent professional baseball appearing in seven games as a pro.
"Nate stood out to us during this process as someone who we were excited to add to our staff," Rathbun said. "He has a strong knowledge of pitching and a perfect fit for what we were looking for. We are very excited to get Nate here and working with our program."
A native of Denver, Co., he spent this past summer as a pitching and assistant coach for a Colorado-based organization.
