St. Bonaventure

As a Senior (2016-17)
Helped the 800-freestyle relay team to a third-place finish, and also swam the 1,650, 1,000, 500 and 200-freestyle events at the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships ... member of the 12th-place 400-freestyle relay team (3:12.09), part of the 10th-place 800-freestyle relay team (6:57.72) at the Akron Invite (12/2-4) ... finished first in 200-yard freestyle (1:45.89) and 500-yard freestyle (4:57.32) in a win over Colgate (10/22)… Took third place in 1,000-yard freestyle (10:20.34) in loss to Cleveland State (10/21).

As a Junior (2015-16)
Was a member of the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championship team that earned third in the 800 yard freestyle relay with a time of 6:38.05 ... also earned three personal season-best times at the A-10 Championship with a 1:41.99 in the 200 yard freestyle, a 4:39.10 in the 500 yard freestyle and a 16:38.46 in the 1650 freestyle ... against CSU and Marshall, he earned a 23.54 in the 50 yard freestyle and a 49.64 in the 100 yard freestyle ... swam a 10:30.69 in the 1000 yard freestyle against Canisius and posted a time of 57.63 in the 100 yard backstroke.  

As a Sophomore (2014-15)
Swam a season-best 51.10 in the 100-freestyle at the A-10 Tri-Meet (11/1) ... swam two personal bests in the Atlantic 10 Championship: the 200-freestyle (1:43.72) and 500-freestyle (4:42.44). 

As a Freshman (2013-14)
Finished 23rd in the preliminary round of the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:14.10 and came in 30th in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:54.23 at the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships.

High School
Swam for Williamsville South all four years of his high school career at set career bests in the 500, 299, and 100 freestyle all took place during his senior season ... picked St. Bonaventure because he liked the feel of the camp us and it felt like home.

Personal
Son of Julie and Keith Hughes ... has a sibling, Kerry ... picked St. Bonaventure because he liked the feel of the campus and it felt like home ... majoring in finance.
