As A Junior (2011-12)
Destree currently holds the second fastest time on the team for the 50-yard freestyle, touching in at 21.19 … also clinched at A10 Championships were his times for the third top spots on the team in the 100-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly with times of 46.58 and 50.46 … Destree also gained the sixth fastest time on the team in the 200-yard butterfly during the MSU vs. St. Bonaventure meet in November of 2011 coming in at 2:06.19 … in relay action during the Atlantic 10 Championships, Destree participated in the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay that placed top times for the St. Bonaventure men. 

As A Sophomore (2010-11)
Grabbed a win for the Bonnies in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 53.13 and was part of a 200-yard freestyle relay team that took 1st place with a combined time of 1:29.00 during the win against Niagara ... he also finished 2nd in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.05 in the defeat against Canisius ... posted season best time of 50.67 in the 100-yard butterfly at Virginia Senior Club Championships. 

High School
Captained his swim team senior and junior years ... 2009 TCIS Conference Champion in 100-yard butterfly and 200 individual medley ... broke school records in 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, 200 individual medley, 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard freestyle relay ... named 2008 and 2009 USA swimming scholastic All-American ... also lettered in track.

Born on July 3, 1991 ... son of Steve and Tish Destree ... has one sister Kate (10) ... a swim instructor during the summer ... graduated with 3.9 GPA and a member of the National Latin Honors Society ... majoring in sports studies.
