St. Bonaventure

As A Junior (2011-12) 
Named Men’s Diver of the Year by the Atlantic 10 Conference at the A-10 Swimming and Diving Championships … prior to the Atlantic 10 Championships Murphy was ranked first in the 3-meter with six dives and a score of 321.86 in the Atlantic 10 Conference … ranked first in the 1-meter with five dives and the 3-meter with five dives with scores of 307.12 and 323.40 … scored 323.48 at the MSU vs. St. Bonaventure meet, ranking him second in the 1-meter with six dives … finished first on the team in the both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards … in Atlantic 10 Championship action Murphy finished first in the finals in the 1-meter with a score of 302.70 … placed first in the 3-meter competition with a score of 341.40 and beating out defending champion from UMass … went on to compete in one of five regional NCAA Zone Diving Meets at the University at Buffalo’s Natatorium in Buffalo, N.Y. where he finished in 23rd in the prelims of the 3-meter with a score of 264.55 and finished in 13th in the finals of the 1-meter with a combined score of 559.50 … named Performer of the Week by the Atlantic 10 Conference for his performance at the University at Buffalo meet when he broke his previous personal best for the 3-meter and scored a 350.70 … named to the A-10 All Academic team for the second year in a row. 

As A Sophomore (2010-11)
At the A-10 Championships he placed 1st in the 1 meter for diving with a combined score of 300.60 ... earned a spot on the A-10 First-Team All-Conference for the 1 meter diving and the Academic All-Conference ... at the meet against Penn State he showcased his talents on the 3 meter board with a combined score of 340.28.

As A Freshman (2009-10)
Was a great asset to the team … was recognized as Co-Rookie of the Week and Diver of the Week by the Atlantic 10 Conference for his efforts against Binghamton and Canisius, respectively ... took first place in the 1-and 3-meter dives against Little Three rival, Canisius, posting a varsity record and scoring a season-high 316.58 points in the 1-meter dive ... took first place in both diving events in Bonaventure’s win over Binghamton ... placed fourth in the 3-meter (284.00) dive and third in the 1-meter (273.30 points) dive at the Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championships ... qualified for the NCAA Zone A Qualifying meet ... earned a season-best 303.53 points in the 1-meter dive against Penn State. 

High School
Third place his senior year in NYSPHS ... County Champion his junior and senior year ... 13th at AAU Nationals his senior year ... senior year set high school dive record at 6 dives (321.85) and 11 dives (505.00).
