Clarkson graduated from Buffalo State College in 2012 where shestarted at attack on the lacrosse team all four years. As afreshman she registered 87 points and was named to the All-SUNYACSecond Team.
As a sophomore Clarkson registerd 83 points which included 59assists. That season, she led all of Division III in assists pergame with 3.93. She would again be named to the All-SUNYAC SecondTeam, All-Empire Region First Team and SUNYAC ChampionshipAll-Tournament Team.
Her junior year, Clarkson scored 27 goals and handed out 65assists to total 92 points. She would lead Division III in assistsper game once again this time with 4.06 per game. The Corning, N.Y.native would be named to the IWLCA All-American Second Team, theSynapse Sports All-American Third Team, All-SUNYAC First Team andthe All-Region First Team.
Finally, as a senior, Clarkson pumped in 35 goals and handed out88 assists for 123 points and a grand total of 385 for her career.She would receive All-Empire Region Second Team honors in additionto All-SUNYAC Second Team Honors. She would also be named theBuffalo State Female Athlete of the Year.
Her 385 career points ranks her second in Buffalo State historyand top-10 in Division III history. Her 240 assists are tops inBuffalo State and Division III history. Her 88 assists in 2012 arealso a Division III single-season record.
Clarkson has coached the Corning Skyhawks travel varsitylacrosse team (2008-10), the Corning Vikings travel varsitylacrosse team (2010-11) and the Buffalo Wings travel lacrosse team(2011-12).
