Helped Putnam Science Academy win the first national prep championship in school history as the team's point guard ... in the title game, a 74-66 overtime win over Northfield Mount Hermon, he had 10 points, four assists and four steals ... the Mustangs finished the 2017-18 season with a record of 38-4, including a school record 24-game win streak ... led Putnam in minutes and averaged 10 points, six assists and three rebounds per game ... made 48 percent of his shots overall and 40 percent from behind the three-point line ... was coached by Tom Espinosa ... was ranked third in the state of Connecticut by New England Recruiting Report in the spring of 2018, which also named him one of 10 players in its 2017-18 All-New England first team.
High School
Attended Union Catholic (N.J.) High School, graduating in 2017 … his senior season, averaged 13 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game as Union finished 17-11, falling in the second round of the state playoffs … three of his Union teammates went on to Division I schools – Jordan Pierce (Dayton), Isaiah Still (Iona) and George Pappas (Monmouth) … was coached by Jim Regan.
