The Starting Five
1. The St. Bonaventure women's basketball team hopes to end its five-game losing streak on Saturday when they travel to Philadelphia for a meeting with the Saint Joseph's Hawks. The Hawks will also be looking to get back on track as they are on a four-game slide.
2. Junior forward Katie Healy leads the Bonnies in scoring as she is registering 13.7 points per contest, good for 12th in the Atlantic 10. The Lancaster, N.Y. native also leads the team in assists (50), blocks (23) and is second in steals (24) and total rebounds (116). Healy had 17 points and seven rebounds against VCU.
3. The Brown and White are holding opponents to shooting 35.6% from the field, good for third in the A-10. St. Bonaventure has only allowed five teams to shoot over 40% in a game.
4. Hannah Little, a Rochester Hills, Mich. native, leads the Bonnies in points during A-10 play so far this season. Little is averaging 14.4 points per game. Little had a career high 24 points against Fordham on Jan. 11.
5. Saturday's game has become a must win for St. Bonaventure with pivotal A-10 match-ups await for the Bonnies as they welcome Duquesne on Jan. 28 and travel to UMass on Jan. 31 to wrap up the month of January.
Scouting The Hawks
• The Saint Joseph's Hawks enter to Saturdays game with a week off to prepare for the Bonnies. The Hawks are 5-12 overall on the season while 1-4 in the Atlantic 10.
• Saturday's home game will be the Hawks' first contest at home since Jan. 10.
• The Hawks are currently on a four game skid. Their lone win in the A-10 came against VCU.
• St. Joe's is led by Ciara Andrews, who has started 16 of 17 games. Andrews is averaging 13.6 points per game, while bringing down 3.2 rebounds per game.
• Preseason First Team Atlantic 10 all-conference member, Natasha Cloud is second on the team in points per game with 12.8. Cloud leads the A-10 in assists per game with 6.2 as she has 105 on the season. Cloud also leads the team on the boards with 106 total rebounds.
• The Hawks are averaging 60.6 points per game as a team, while allowing opposing teams to score 65.5 points.
• Saint Joseph's are being out-rebounded by a 8.4 margin. The Hawks are recording 35.4 rebounds per game, while opponents are registering 43.8.
• Kathlee Fitzpatrick leads the team from outside as she has notched 39 three-point field goals on the season. Fitzpatrick is shoot 33.1% from outside.
• Both the Bonnies and the Hawks have defeated Big East opponents this season. Saint Joseph's defeated in-town rival Villanova on Dec. 7, while St. Bonaventure downed Georgetown on Dec. 22.
• St. Joe's are 1-3 this season with common opponents with St. Bona. The Hawks defeated VCU, while lost to Drexel, UMass and Fordham.
• Last season, Saint Joseph's went to the NCAA Tournament and defeated Georgia in the round of 64, but fell to UConn in the next round.

The St. Bonaventure women's basketball team led wire-to-wire and earned its sixth consecutive victory Wednesday night, defeating Saint Joseph's, 73-67. Hannah Little posted her fifth double-double of the season with 13 points and tied a career-high with 18 rebounds. Chelsea Bowker registered a team-high 20 points, including 6-9 from behind the arc.
Recent Success Over The Hawks
Despite the Hawks holding a 37-12 advantage in the series history, St. Bonaventure has won the last four out of five, including a win in the Atlantic 10 tournament in 2012. Over the last five years the Bonnies are averaging 63 points while the Hawks are scoring 56 points per game.
