FAIRFAX, Va. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team dropped a pair of Atlantic 10 matches to Richmond and George Mason on the road Friday and Saturday.

The Bonnies lost Friday's match to the Spiders, 5-2, and then fell to the Patriots, 7-0, Saturday morning.

Anastasia Gubanova and Paula Velilla were victorious for the Brown and White in singles play. Gubanova took down Sara Salemyr at No. 4 in straight sets, 7-6, 6-2, while Velilla battled back from a set down to win, 4-6, 6-3, 10-8, over Emily Garvin at No. 6.

The Bonnies are off until Wednesday, April 27 for the first round of the 2022 Atlantic 10 Tournament in Orlando, Fla.
