Men's Tennis Falls On The Road In Pair of Weekend Matches

CLEVELAND – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches in Cleveland Saturday and Sunday against Cleveland State and Xavier.

The Bonnies fell to the Vikings, 5-2, Saturday evening and were defeated by Xavier, 6-1, Sunday.

Winning for the Bonnies in singles action against Cleveland State were freshman Connor Turner and junior Luke Young. Turner battled back from a set down to defeat Cole Chappell, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, at the No. 4 spot. Young captured a straight set, 7-5, 7-5, victory at No. 6.

In Sunday's action against the Musketeers, freshman Archie Graham registered the lone point with a 6-3, 3-6, 10-8 victory over Ryan Chahill at the top flight.
