This week's GoBonnies.com Student-Athletes of the Week presented by CPL are men's swimming and diving senior Maxwell Murray and women's swimming and diving sophomore Kathryn Beyer. 
 
Murray took home two event wins in what was a dominating 152-75 dual meet victory over Canisius Tuesday. 
 
The Penfield, N.Y. native led a Bona sweep of the podium in the 200-freestyle touching the wall in 1:41.91. He clocked in at 51.02 in the 100-backstroke to tack on nine more points to the Bona's team total. 
 
Murray has been a staple for the Bonaventure squad over his four years, holding three program records in the 500- 1000- and 1650-freestyle races.
 
Beyer also recorded two individual wins at Canisius as the women's swimming and diving squad earned a 150-71 win over their Little Three rival. 
 
Touching the wall in 1:55.12 in the 200-freestyle, Beyer topped the podium. She did the same in the 500-freestyle with a time of 5:18.40. 
 
The Warren, Pa. native has been a consistent scorer for the Bonnies over her first two seasons with the team. 
 
Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to action after the holiday break as they host Canisius at the Reilly Center pool on Jan. 27. The divers are also in competition Jan. 12-14 at the Buffalo Diving Invitational.
