Bonnies 200-Medley Relay Team Places Fourth In First Day of A-10 Championships

GENEVA, Ohio – The 200-medley relay team of Luigi Termine, Nicholas Nakaya, Alexander Behr and Kyle Gluck highlighted day one of the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships for the St. Bonaventure University men's swimming and diving team.
 
The team finished with a time of 1:28.52 to place fourth in the event.
 
This time is good for second in the record book, passing the time of 1:28.74 that was set by the 2014 team of Vatslav Lets, Preston Schilling, Viacheslav Shchukin, and Michael White.
 
The 800-freestyle relay team of Behr, Maxwell Murray, Mikolaj Synowiec, and Tomas Botero registered a sixth-place finish, touching the wall in a time of 6:36.19.
 
St. Bonaventure ended the first day of A-10 championships tied for fourth-place (56 points) with La Salle in the team standings.

The championships kick off tomorrow with the prelims for the 500-freestyle, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
