Behr Breaks Own Program Record In 100-Fly on Third Day of Championships

GENEVA, Ohio – Sophomore Alexander Behr broke his own program record in the 100-butterfly with a time of 47.44 to highlight day three of the Atlantic 10 Championships for the St. Bonaventure men's swimming and diving team at SPIRE Institute.
 
Behr finished fourth in this event and passed his own record that he set earlier in the season at the Magnus Cup with a time of 47.52.
 
In the championship final of the 200-freestyle, Maxwell Murray registered a time of 1:38.75 for an eighth-place finish.
 
Freshman Luigi Termine placed eighth in the 100-backstroke with a time of 49.86, while teammate Griffin finished 16th in the consolation final of this event (50.80).
 
A pair of consolation finishes were notched by Joshua Bannon (11th) and Mikolaj Synowiec (16th) in the 400-IM.
 
At the end of the third day, St. Bonaventure stands in sixth-place with a team score of 210. George Washington sits in first place (522), followed by George Mason (347.5).
 
The final day of competition begins Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with 200-backstroke prelims.
