Gottinger posted two shutouts for the Bonnies as they opened Atlantic 10 action against Dayton and Davidson. The Pirching am Traubenberg, Austria native made eight saves in Thursday's matchup with the Flyers at Marra Athletics Complex. A big save in the opening five minutes and one as time expired in the second half helped secure a point for the Bonnies in their A-10 opener.Â

At Davidson, Gottinger made four saves including a sprawling second half grab in the 14
th minute to post her second shutout of the week. Her two clean sheets bring her to 12 in her career and put her in a tie for fourth with Margaret Leif, '97 in the Bonnies record books.Â

Gottinger and the women's soccer team hit the field again on Thursday at Fordham. Â

Kenzo Brito, a Santos, Sao Paolo, Brazil native, scored two goals to help the men's soccer team to a 3-1 win over Little Three rival Niagara on Thursday at Marra Athletics Complex. The junior midfielder netted the game's first goal in the ninth minute, giving the Bonnies an early advantage. Brito found the back of the net for a second time in the contest, floating a shot past the Niagara goalkeeper in the 63rd minute.

He went on to play all 90 minutes in the Bonnies Atlantic 10 opener at Fordham Saturday afternoon. The Bonnies are back in action Wednesday, Sept. 20 against Canisius.
