The St. Bonaventure University women's basketball team returns to action Saturday, Nov. 30 when it travels to take on Buffalo. Tipoff is slated for 2:00 p.m. at Alumni Arena.

TIPPING OFF
The Bonnies are looking to bounce back after a 60-42 loss at home against Patriot League preseason favorite Loyola (MD).
Freshman Zoe Shaw paced the Brown and White with a career-high 12 points on four made threes.
Macy Smith gave the Bonnies an early 10-6 lead in the first quarter, but the Greyhounds were able to tie the game at 10-10 with back-to-back baskets to end the period.
The two sides traded scores in the second period before Loyola used an 8-0 spurt to end the half and take a 33-25 lead into the locker room.
Loyola's lead grew to as many as 21 in the third quarter as the Greyhounds pulled away for the victory.
BONNIES DEBUT
Freshman Caitlin Frost made her St. Bonaventure regular season debut Wednesday afternoon after missing the first five games of the season due to injury.
Frost played 21 minutes off the bench, netting seven points and pulling down a team-high seven rebounds.
MILESTONE MET
Redshirt senior Isabellah Middleton registered surpassed 1,000 career collegiate points during Wednesday's contest with her basket in the second quarter.
Middleton has netted 407 points in 36 games at St. Bonaventure after scoring 596 points in two seasons at Division II Slippery Rock.
SCOUTING THE BULLS
- Buffalo enters Saturday's matchup with a perfect 6-0 record to start the season, capturing wins over Troy, Buffalo State, Maryland Eastern Shore, Cedarville, Canisius and Niagara. The Bulls finished last season 19-14 overall and 10-8 in Mid-American Conference play. UB was picked to finish third in the MAC preseason poll this season.
- The Bulls are coached by Becky Burke who is in her third season as head coach, posting a 37-30 record. She joined the Bulls after two seasons as the head coach at USC Upstate. Burke is 150-85 in nine seasons as a head coach overall.
- MAC Preseason First Team selectin Chellia Watson leads the way for the Bulls, averaging 19.8 points per game to go along with 5.0 rebounds per contest. Also in double figures for the Bulls are Kirsten Lewis-Williams (12.3 ppg), Terah Harness (12.0 ppg) and Noelani Cornfield (11.0 ppg). On the glass, Alexis Davis leads the team with 41 rebounds, averaging 6.8 per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies and Bulls are set to meet for the 35th time Saturday in Buffalo. The Bonnies hold the slight edge in the all-time series, 18-16, but the Bulls have won seven straight matchups over the Brown and White, dating back to the 2016-17 season.
Bonnies head coach Jim Crowley is 8-3 all-time vs. Buffalo.

The Bonnies return home to host Cornell Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Reilly Center. Tipoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. and the game will also be live on YES Network as well as ESPN+.
