CLEVELAND, Ohio – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team dropped a pair of matches on the road in Cleveland against Western Michigan and Cleveland State Saturday afternoon.

The Bonnies fell in their opening match of the day to WMU, 4-0, and were defeated by host Cleveland State, 4-0, in the night cap.

Western Michigan grabbed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2, taking an early lead.

In singles action, The Broncos got wins at the No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6 spots, clinching the victory.

In the second match of the day, the Vikings clinched the doubles point for an early lead, winning matches at No. 1 and No. 3.

Cleveland State carried the momentum into singles, capturing wins at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 6 singles, clinching the victory.

The Bonnies are back in action Tuesday, Feb. 27 against North Florida in Orlando.
