ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team defeated Mercyhurst, 4-3, Wednesday afternoon at the SBU Tennis Center.

The Bonnies were able to take an early lead over the Lakers, sweeping all three doubles matches.

The team of Archie Graham and Hugo Cochlin were victorious at No. 1, 7-6, while Jean Marrero and Anargha Ganguly won at No. 2, 6-4.

Rasmus Egehus and Connor Turner completed the sweep with a 6-2 victory at No. 3.

Moving into singles, Graham picked up the Bonnies first win, defeating Danylo Rekun in straight sets at the top flight, 6-2, 6-4.

Ganguly was next to win in singles action, taking down Lukas Cabue at No. 2 in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6.

Turner clinched the team win with a victory at No. 5 singles against Mykhailo Polishcuck, 6-1, 7-6.

The Bonnies are back in action Sunday, March 16 when they host Mount St. Mary's
