ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team extended its win streak to five by defeating Siena, 4-1, Friday afternoon at the SBU Tennis Center.

The Bonnies grabbed an early lead, clinching the doubles points from the Saints with wins at No. 1 and No. 3.

At No. 1, Archie Graham and Hugo Cochlin took down Andrea Moro and Duarte Melo, 7-5. Rasmus Egehus and Connor Turner bested Maxwell Acri and Zino Varouhas-Poole at No. 3, 6-4, capturing the doubles point for the Brown and White.

In singles action, Egehus was the first victorious Bonnie at No. 4, defeating Melo in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1.

Anargha Ganguly picked up the next win for the Brown and White at No. 2 singles over Varouhas-Poole, 6-2, 3-6, 6-0.

Cochlin clinched the team victory for the Bonnies at No. 3 singles, taking down Acri in three sets, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2.

The Bonnies (7-9) are back in action Saturday, March 30 when they take on George Mason in Fairfax, Va.
