DAYTON, Ohio – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team defeated Duquesne, 4-3, earning a split of two Atlantic 10 matches against the Dukes and Dayton Saturday and Sunday in Ohio.

The Bonnies had to regroup in singles after dropping the doubles point to the Dukes.

Anargha Ganguly captured a win at No. 2 singles in straight sets over, Tamirlan Teberkov, 6-3, 7-5.

Connor Turner also won in straight sets at No. 5 singles, defeating Jin Dassanayake, 6-3, 7-5.

At No. 4 singles, Rasmus Egehus bested Alfrendo Vogelaar in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2.

Jean Marrero clinched the team victory for the Brown and White at No. 6 singles, taking down Bode Vance in straight sets, 7-6, 6-2.

Sunday against the Flyers, the Bonnies took an early lead with the doubles point after wins at No. 1 and No. 3.

The Flyers rebounded in singles, however, winning at No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 5 to earn team win.

The Bonnies wrap up the regular season Friday, April 19 when they host Ithaca at the SBU Tennis Center.
