The St. Bonaventure University women's basketball team returns home to host VCU Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Reilly Center. Tipoff is slated for 6:00 p.m.

TIPPING OFF
The Bonnies look to bounce back following a 55-37 loss to Davidson Sunday afternoon in North Carolina.
Dani Haskell paced the Bonnies with 10 points while Zoe Shaw chipped in nine points for the Brown and White. Caitlin Frost posted eight points and Gabby Robinson Forde added six points and a team-high six rebounds.
The Bonnies led the Wildcats, 15-14, after the first quarter, but a 9-0 second quarter run and a 14-0 third quarter spurt proved to be the difference for the hosts.
WELCOME BACK
Freshman Lena Walz saw nine minutes of action off the bench Sunday afternoon against the Wildcats.
It marked the first game for the freshman since Jan. 5 at George Mason, missing the previous 10 games due to injury.
Prior to her injury, Walz averaged 18.0 minutes per game.
TRENDING NUMBERS
10 – The Bonnies grabbed 10 offensive rebounds against Davidson, marking the sixth time this season with 10 or more offensive rebounds.
13.4 – Redshirt senior Dani Haskell leads the Bonnies in scoring this season, averaging 13.4 points per game. Haskell also leads the Bonnies with 52 made threes.
33.3 – Zoe Shaw is averaging a team-high 33.3 minutes per game this season. That mark ranks fifth overall in the Atlantic 10 and first among all A-10 freshmen.
75.2% - The Bonnies are shooting 75.2 percent from the free throw line this season, ranking fourth in the Atlantic 10 and 61st in the NCAA.
SCOUTING THE RAMS
- VCU enters Wednesday's game 11-15 overall and 5-9 in Atlantic 10 play. The Rams are coming off a 76-57 win at Fordham Sunday afternoon, snapping a five-game losing streak. VCU has also picked up conference wins over George Washington, Saint Joseph's, Loyola Chicago and Duquesne.
- Beth O'Boyle is in her 11th season as the head coach at VCU. She has posted a 182-149 record during her time with the Rams, guiding the team to 20 or more wins four times. O'Boyle has an all-time coaching record of 275-232, spending three years as the head coach at Stony Brook (2011-14) and three seasons at Division III Montclair State (2004-07).
- Mary-Anna Asare leads the Rams in scoring this season, averaging 15.7 points per game. Timaya Lewis-Eutsey is also averaging double figures for VCU, chipping in 14.5 points per contest. On the glass, Mykel Parham is pulling down 10.8 rebounds per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies and Rams are set to meet for the 14th time Wednesday evening. VCU has dominated the all-time series, 12-1, with the Bonnies lone win coming Feb. 18, 2023 at the Reilly Center, 68-62. Nikki Oppenheimer tallied 22 points to lead the Brown and White.

The Bonnies head back out on the road and travel to the City of Brotherly Love for the second time this season, this time to take on La Salle Saturday, Feb. 22. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
