Bonnies Take Down Ashland, 6-1

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University men's tennis team defeated Ashland, 6-1, Tuesday afternoon at the University Fitness Center.

The Bonnies started Tuesday's contest with a clean sweep of doubles action.

At the top spot, Connor Turner and Chase Cahill-Welsh battled to a 7-5 win while Anargha Ganguly and Davis Matney scored a 6-3 win at No. 2. The team of Alex Kim and Luke Ollivierre also picked up a win, 6-2, at No. 3.

In singles play, Turner, Ganguly, Matney and Cahill-Welsh all picked up wins in straight sets at the top four spots.

At No. 5 singles, Kim battled back from a set down to capture the three-set win.

The Bonnies are back in action Monday, March 3 when they take on North Carolina A&T
