Welcome to "Behind The Bonnies," a new GoBonnies.com series where we get to know the student-athletes at St. Bonaventure University. In this edition, we meet Bonnies freshman Zoe Shaw.
Freshman Zoe Shaw traveled 10,000 miles away from home in Australia to be able to play college basketball in the United States.
In Shaw's debut season at St. Bonaventure, she has scored double digits in 14 of the 21 games she has appeared in, including an active nine-game streak of scoring double digits. Shaw recorded her career high on Jan. 25 against Fordham. Against Rhode Island, Shaw made five 3-pointers.
One of the Atlantic 10's top freshmen this season, she has twice been named the A-10 Rookie of the Week.
Prior to St. Bonaventure, Shaw played for the Keilor Thunder in the Australia NBL One League. She appeared in 17 games in 2023. She also spent time with the Knox Raiders, appearing in 19 games in 2022.
