ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Cleveland State Saturday afternoon at the University Fitness Center.

The duo of Isabella Venter and Cirkeline Lundberg captured a 6-4 win at the top spot in doubles, but the Vikings came away with wins at No. 2 and No. 3, earning the doubles point.

Venter carried her momentum into singles action, defeating Oihane Vicario at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-1.

Kashish Bote also picked up a victory in singles for the Brown and White, besting Jenna Redmile at No. 5 singles, 6-4, 6-2.

The Vikings, however, earned wins at No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6 singles, capturing the team victory.

The Bonnies are back in action Friday, March 21 when they host Mercyhurst. That match is slated to start at 2:00 p.m.
