STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The St. Bonaventure golf team concluded play at the Rutherford Intercollegiate hosted by Penn State Sunday afternoon. Junior Michael Bucko was Bona's low finisher, carding rounds of 71-74-74 to tie for 24th on the leaderboard. This is the third consecutive tournament in which Bucko has led the team.
 
An even par 71 in the first round for Bucko came courtesy of nine pars on the back nine to begin the day. On the front, he made birdie on the par-4 first hole and the par-3 fourth, but carded bogeys on the par-4 sixth and par-3 eighth to finish his first 18 holes at even par.
 
Gabe Williams had two bounce-back rounds after posting a 78 on the opening 18. The junior carded matching 74s to close out the tournament and earn a tie for 47th. In the second round, Williams played the back nine at four-over par but bounced back on the front with a 1-under 35 thanks to birdies on the fourth and seventh holes and an eagle on the par-5 ninth.
 
After shooting 76 in the opening round, Peter Byrne recorded a 1-over 72 on the second 18 holes. The grad student carded 17 pars and a bogey on the par-4 third in the middle round of the tournament. He closed the event with a 78 in round three.
 
Freshman Braddock Damore was also in the lineup for the Brown and White, posting counting scores in every round. He posted matching scores of 76 in the first two rounds on Saturday before recording a 77 during Sunday's final round.
 
Andrew Murray rounded out the Bona's lineup (81-78-87/246).
 
The Bonnies finished 11^th out of 12 teams (300-296-303/899).
 
Competing as an individual, junior Caleb Decker posted scores of 81-81-77/239.
