ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure women's basketball head coach Jim Crowley has announced the addition of transfer guard Laycee Drake to the 2025-26 roster.

"Laycee is someone that we are very familiar with and very excited to have in our program," Crowley said. "She is an experienced, competitive, physical guard who will help us on both ends of the floor."

Drake joins the Bonnies after spending the 2024-25 season at UAlbany. Drake saw action in 28 contests with the Great Danes, averaging 8.3 minutes per contest. She was an efficient shooter at UAlbany, posting clips of 37.9 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from three.
 
She helped the Danes to a 26-7 overall record, an America East Championship appearance, and a trip to the WBIT.
 
Prior to her senior year with the Great Danes, Drake spent three seasons at UMBC. In the 2022-23 season, Drake started all 29 games, averaging 30.4 minutes. That season, she led the team in assists (73) and averaged 7.9 points per game.
 
Drake was sidelined in her junior season with the Retrievers due to an injury before transferring to UAlbany.
