ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team bested Mercyhurst, 4-3, Tuesday afternoon at the University Fitness Center.

The Bonnies were able to capture the doubles points from the Lakers with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.

The duo of Kelly Barnes and Tamara Bachmann picked up a 6-2 win at No. 3 while Isabella Venter and Cirkeline Lundberg clinched the doubles point with a 7-6 win at the top spot.

In singles action, Sienna Smith, Kashish Bote and Venter all picked up wins, helping the Bonnies to victory.

Venter and Bote battled to three-set wins while Smith captured her victory in straight sets.

The Bonnies are back in action Sunday, April 13 when they travel to take on Le Moyne.
