NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) named St. Bonaventure midfielder
Brooke Piper to the Northeast Region Second Team, association officials announced Friday.

Piper had an outstanding junior season, leading the team in goals and points.
Â
The Aurora, Ontario native set the Bona single-season goals (68) and points (78) records this season while helping the team reach the Atlantic 10 Tournament for the second time in three seasons.

Piper tallied multiple goals in 16 of 18 games this season, including eight games with five or more points. She had a career-high nine points at VCU with eight goals, tying the Bona single-game record.

The midfielder scored three game-winning goals and went 15-for-30 on free position opportunities this season. She also won 84 draw controls while causing eight turnovers and scooping 11 groundballs.

Piper was named to the Atlantic 10 First Team and the All-Academic Team earlier this month.
