Eddie Gray is in his second stint as an assistant coach with the St. Bonaventure baseball program after previously serving on staff from 2013-15.
During his first stint on staff, Gray recruited and coached four Bonnies who would go on to be selected in the MLB Draft. He was also the lead instructor for the Larry Sudbrook Baseball Camps and co-instructor at St. Bonaventure prospect camps.
For the next five years, he served as a coach and instructor for Sports Zone Baseball Academy. While there he was the head pitching instructor and head coach for travel teams 10U-17U. He was the founder of Eddie Gray's APC Pitching Clinics for players ages 10-18 at all skill levels in private lessons.
While a player at St. Bonaventure from 2009-13, he wrote his name into the Bonnies career record books. Gray stands seventh overall in career wins (15), and also is one of the Bonnies all-time leaders in starts (46, second), strikeouts (211, third), innings pitched (289.2, second) and appearances (53, 12th).
He became a second-generation Bonnie, following in the footsteps of his parents who are both St. Bonaventure graduates while his sister, Claire, also graduated from Bonaventure.
