Born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England but grew up in Bridlington, Yorkshire, England.
Danny started playing rugby at the age of 7 for minis, and continued on to play for club, school, and county. After a year of university he took some time away from the sport.Â
Eventually moved to the states and played/coached for North Penn Rugby Club in Hatfield, PA.
After moving to the Allegany area in 2008, Danny began coaching for St. Bonaventure in 2014
"I came to St Bonaventure in 2013/14 season as a volunteer coach. I just wanted to be around the game again. I immediately fell in love with the role. Working with the student athletes has been so rewarding. Seeing the growth of the program over my short career has been incredible. I’m really proud of what we’ve built here, especially the culture that we’ve nurtured over the last 5 years. Helping players develop as athletes as well as good people is a wonderful privilege."
