St. Bonaventure

Danny Neighbour played club rugby for Bridlington Rugby Union Football Club (BRUFC) in Yorkshire, England from the age of 7. As a Colt, he played for his county team, East Yorkshire, then played for Bridlington 1st XV and 2nd XV. Neighbour continued his playing career at North Lincolnshire College while studying Sports Science and Coaching. This is also where Neighbour's coaching career began as he coached minis and women's rugby.

After college, Neighbour moved to the United States in 2002 and got married. He started playing for North Penn Men's Rugby Club in Hatfield, PA and continued coaching while playing. After moving to Bradford, PA, Neighbour joined the St. Bonaventure Men's Rugby coaching staff in the fall of 2014. His part-time coaching postition soon became full-time.

Coach Neighbour is currently in his fourth season with the Bonnies. His primary focus is on scrum, lineout, and defense.
