Started playing rugby his freshman year of high school. Played for Greg Norris at Xavier High School.

Was a member of the Emipire Selects and NYRC. Also partipcated in football and wrestling in high school.

Son of Jimmy and Vivian Delaney. Brother of Brittany and James Delaney.
