As A Senior (2011-12)
Finished out his senior season at St. Bonaventure with individual top times for the season in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle … both times were achieved during the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships where Nieves swam a 21.19 in the 50-yard freestyle and touched in at 48.09 in the 100-yard freestyle. 

As A Junior (2010-11)
50 free ... 100 free

As A Sophomore (2009-10)
Participated in the 100-yard freestyle event at the Atlantic 10 Championships, posting a season-best time of 47.15 ... took first in the 50-yard freestyle (22.00) against Little Three rival Canisius ... swam a leg of a 400-yard medley relay team that took first place over Georgetown with a combined time of 3:11.69.

High School
National Honor Society member in junior and senior years of high school ... AP Scholar and Academic All-American ... swam for Fort Worth Area Swim Team (FAST), coached by Ron Forrest ... regional champion in the 100-yard free as a senior ... district champion in the 50 and 100-yard free ... held school record in the 50 and 100-yard free all through his high school career.
