St. Bonaventure

As a Senior (2013-14)
Took third place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 55.3 and finished fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 200.76 at the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championship.

As a Junior (2012-13)
Took sixth place in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:02.32 and finished 15th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 50.57 and finished the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:02.32 at the A-10 Swimming and Diving Championship...his top times for the season were 50.34 in the 100 fly, 56.28 in the 100 breaststroke and 2:02.36 in the 200 breaststroke.

As a Sophomore (2011-12)
Earned the top time on the team in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 57.06 and the in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:03.51 at the A-10 Swimming and Diving Championship … earned the team’s second-best time in the 200-yard butterfly at 50.36 …swam the breaststroke leg on the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard medley relay team … against Cleveland State, finished fifth on the team in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.97 and finished the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.58, the sixth best on the team. 

As a Freshman (2010-11)
Finished 12th in A-10 Swimming and Diving Championship in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 57.87 ... took second in the  200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:01.79 in the team’s victory over Canisius ... earned first place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 48.88 against Niagara. 

High School
Finished his career at Red Hook Central High School with times of 46.64 in the 100 freestyle, 58.31 in the 100 breaststroke and 51.57 in the 100 fly ... swam in the Empire State Games as a freshman, winning gold medals in the 100-yard free and 400-yard medley relays and earned seven gold medals and four silver medals at the Games during his high school career... also earned a spot in the Speedo Championship Sectional Meet in each of his four years.

Son of Margaret and Scott Burud ... has three siblings, Erin, Sarah and Matt ... majoring in sports studies.
