Courtney Lafler

Courtney Lafler was named St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse assistant coach in August 2021 and joins the staff for her first season in 2022.

Lafler joins the Bonnies after serving as a graduate assistant coach at Limestone (S.C.) College. The Penn Yan, N.Y. native graduated to the coaching ranks after a decorated playing career at Limestone.

During her senior season of 2019, she was nearly unstoppable playing for the Saints, becoming just the second athlete in NCAA Division II to score 100 goals in a single season after leading the nation with 100 goals along with 25 assists for 125 total points. During her senior season, she scored at least two goals in each of her 20 games played including five or more goals 11 times with a high of eight. She finished her four-year career as the Limestone all-time record-holder for career goals, tallying 213 over the course of 79 games including 70 starts.

She was named All-Conference Carolinas First Team three times, captured the conference Offensive Player of the Year accolades as a senior and also earned First Team All-Region and All-American honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). She also received Conference Carolinas post-season tournament most valuable player recognition in her senior season and was a standout in the classroom as well, earning Academic All-Conference awards while receiving her bachelor's degree in sport management.
