Ryan Lynn was named the head coach of the St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse program in the fall of 2011.

Lynn, a Baldwinsville, N.Y. native, came to Bona's after spending two seasons as the top assistant at Division II power Le Moyne.  Lynn joined Le Moyne in September 2009, helping the Dolphins transition from Division III to Division II. Under his guidance as defensive coordinator, Le Moyne, which advanced to the NCAA Championship Semifinals in 2011, became the No. 2-ranked Division II team in the nation and boasted the nation's top scoring defense at just 5.06 goals per game.

"We believe we've found a rising star in the coaching ranks," said St. Bonaventure Athletic Director Steve Watson. "We are very excited to have Ryan on board and look forward to him turning our program into a consistent winner."

Lynn also served as the Dolphins' recruiting coordinator in each of his two seasons, developing extensive ties to Central and Western New York, Long Island and Denver.

"As a team, we believe that with hard work and dedication we will bring a new era to Bonnies lacrosse," said Lynn.

Lynn was as an assistant coach for the Buffalo State from 2006-2009, adding assistant women's basketball duties in 2008.  He assisted in recruiting for a nationally-ranked Division III program and used his experience as a former starter for the UB club lacrosse team to mentor goalies that eventually ranked second and third in all-time saves for the Bengals.

In his hometown, Lynn also served as the head coach for the Central New York Elite Lacrosse Club.

A 2004 graduate of University at Buffalo and a 2008 graduate of Buffalo State, Lynn holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from UB and a master's degree in student personnel administration from Buffalo State.
