Fabio Barros joined the Bonnies as associate head coach / recruiting coordinator in March 2025.
Barros accompanies head coach Melissa Sherwood after working on her staff at Mount St. Mary's and previous to that Saint Peter's.
At The Mount, Barros helped coach the team to a MAAC semifinals appearance in 2023.
Barros spent three seasons at Saint Peter's, helping them break a 20 year old record for most points in a season in 2018.
A decade-long veteran of the coaching circuit, Barros has gained plenty of experience at both the international level and in the Washington D.C. area. More recently, he spent several years in Portugal, working for CS Maritimo, Boavista Porto and C. Condeixa Associacao Cultural E Desportiva Coimbra over a span of three years.
Stateside, he served as the head coach for club teams include Baltimore Union U18/U19, where he guided the team to a Maryland State Cup Championship, an assistanceship with Harford Community College, and head coaching stints with the Washington Spirit U19 and Notre Dame Prep JV.
