Atlantic 10 Cross Country Performer of the Week - Oct. 1, 2024

As A Junior (2024-25) | XC Meets & Times | Track Meets & Times
Cross Country
  • Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree
  • Placed in the team's top-three in every meet she competed in during the season, leading the squad in each of the last four meets of the year
  • Qualified for NCAA Northeast Regionals and brought home a time of 22:32.0 on the 6K course layout to place 157th out of 272 competitors from around the region representing 40 colleges and universities (11/15)
  • She ranked as the first Bonaventure runner to cross the line at the Atlantic 10 Championship, finishing with a 6K time of 22:15.7 (11/2)
  • Became just the second Bonnies runner to break the 22-minute barrier with a 6K PR of 21.55.9 at the Gettysburg Invitational (10/19)
  • Finished first for the Bonnies and 18th overall at the Lock Haven Invitational with a 6K time of 22:04.1, setting a new personal record and logging the best Bonaventure time in the event in a decade to capture Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week accolades (9/28) 
  • With a 5K time of 19:42.81, was the third Bonaventure runner to finish and placed top-10 in the field at the Little Three Championship (9/6) 
Track
  • Posted the second-fastest individual 5K time in Bonnies history at Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships, running 17:45.60 to crush her previous PR by 23 seconds
  • Also ran the steeplechase at the conference meet, clocking in at 11:45.39
  • Qualified for Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships for the 3000, turning in a time of 10:30.42 at the conference meet
As A Sophomore (2023-24) | XC Meets & Times | Track Meets & Times
Cross Country
  • Finished in the team’s top-two spots in every meet during the fall season
  • Placed sixth overall at the Little Three Championship following a 5K time of 19:37.2 (9/3)
  • Paced the Bonnies at the Atlantic 10 Championship with the best finish by an SBU women’s runner in nearly a decade following a time of 22:58.7 (10/28)
  • Represented the Bonnies at the NCAA Northeast Regional and finished second on the team with a 6K run of 22:55.8 (11/10)
Track
  • Claimed the highest finish to date by a Bonnies runner at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track Championships by earning 10th in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a school record time of 11:11.20 (5/4)
  • Set an outdoor 1500 PR time of 5:09.26 at the Saint Francis (PA) Open (4/27)
  • Qualified for the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track Championships and set a new PR in the 3000 meters with a time of 10:23.76 at the conference meet (2/24)
As A Freshman (2022-23) | XC Meets & Times | Track Meets & Times
Cross Country
  • Competed in all five events during the fall season, finishing in the team scoring in every meet
  • Placed third on the team and ninth overall in collegiate debut, running a 5K time of 19:28.7 at the Little Three Championship (9/3)
  • Helped team to a third-place finish by placing 16th out of 168 competitors with a PR time of 19:11.6 at the Anderson Invitational (9/24)
  • Qualified for the Atlantic 10 Championship, finishing fourth on the team with a run of 19:46.0 (10/29)
Track
  • Led the team in the 3000-meter steeplechase, running a program record time of 11:39.59 at the UB Invitational (4/22)
  • Posted an 800 meters PR time of 2:40.49 at the Brockport Multis (4/15)
  • Qualified for the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships in the 3000 meters with a PR effort of 10:54.46 at the conference meet (2/26)
  • Ran a season-best mile time of 5:37.25 at Cornell (2/18)
High School
Made history by becoming the first girls runner to qualify for state championships at her high school, doing so in both cross country and track ... also played lacrosse and swam ... National Honor Society member.

Daughter of Paula and Kevin Winters ... elementary/special education major ... has two sisters: Emma and Paige.
