St. Bonaventure

Ashley Lombardo currently serves as an assistant athletic trainer working with the men's and women's swim and dive programs as well as softball. She began her tenure at St. Bonaventure in October of 2019 as an intern before transitioning into a full-time role.

Before joining the St. Bonaventure sports medicine staff, Ashley served as an athletic trainer at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Ore., from 2018 to 2019. There, she was responsible for the sports medicine needs of the Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Wrestling, and Track and Field teams. Prior to her time in Oregon, Ashley worked as a kindergarten teacher in Connecticut.

Ashley is originally from Windsor, Conn., and earned her Master of Arts degree in Medical Science with a concentration in Molecular Medicine from Liberty University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and Chemistry from Ithaca College in May of 2018. She became certified upon graduating from Ithaca College. Ashley is currently licensed in the states of New York and Oregon and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
