St. Bonaventure

The GoBonnies.com Female Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending May 8, 2022 is track sophomore Emily Peterson.

At the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships, Peterson turned in a top-10 program time in the 1500 meters to highlight the weekend for the St. Bonaventure women's track team.
 
The Kane, Pa. native ran a time of 5:08.41 in the 1500, marking a personal best and moves her to seventh all-time on the individual Bonnies leaderboard.
 
Peterson moved ahead of Samantha Henry, who posted a time of 5:08.71 in the 1500 at Alfred State in 2019. She also ranks fourth in the program record books for the outdoor 3000 as well as the indoor mile and 3000.
