The GoBonnies.com Female Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending Oct. 16 is women’s soccer graduate forward Cristina Torres.
 
Torres scored the eventual game-winner for the Bonnies early in the contest Sunday afternoon against Richmond.
 
In the 22nd minute of the game, Torres was fouled inside the box, which led to her lining up a penalty kick past the Spiders' goalkeeper to take a 1-0 lead going into the final 45 minutes of play.
 
This score helped St. Bonaventure secure its first conference victory of the season.
 
The San Juan, Puerto Rico native is tied with freshman Ami Komori for the team lead in goals with three.
