The GoBonnies.com Female Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending Jan. 1 is women’s basketball redshirt junior Claire Cody.

Cody provided a spark off the bench in the Bonnies Atlantic 10 opener at UMass last Saturday.

The Carmel, N.Y. native was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field, scoring a career-high 12 points in just 12 minutes off the bench.

Cody’s line also included a career-best three 3-pointers on the afternoon.

She has scored in double figures twice this season, posting a 10-point performance against Georgia State Nov. 25.
