The GoBonnies.com Female Athlete of the Week presented by CPL for the week ending Jan. 22 is women’s tennis sophomore Alexandra Jansson.

Jansson went 2-0 at the top flight in singles action in a 1-1 start to the spring season for the Bonnies.
 
The Mariestad, Sweden native captured her first victory of the week over Olivia Tracey of Loyola (MD) in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1. In Saturday’s match against Navy, Jansson earned the lone point for the Bonnies with a three-set victory, battling back from a set down to win, 6-7, 6-4, 10-5.
